Crafting with Distress Oxides: A Tribute Page from the Heart

If you’ve ever fallen in love with a product and then struggled to use it — you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I created this project.

My Distress Oxide inks are some of my absolute favourites, but I realised I wasn’t using them nearly enough. So I set out to create a project that would help me explore what they could really do — and ended up making something far more personal than I expected.

In this course, you’ll learn how to:

• Use your Distress Oxide inks in ten creative ways
• Build layered embellishments with stencils, stamps and flowers
• Put it all together using a layout sketch to complete a scrapbook page

What makes this project even more meaningful for me is that I created it as a tribute to my dog, who passed away during this time. The process of crafting and remembering helped me navigate those emotions in a way I didn’t expect.
