Stamping with bubble wrap is a fun technique to use to create a background or add some interest to your project!

Technique:

The following video shows this technique beautifully:

Bubble wrap comes in different sizes (I will show you 3 sizes, small medium and large) as well as different shapes (I will show you round and oval shaped bubble wrap).

We will be working with the medium (or standard) size bubble wrap.

A water-based ink like Distress ink or Distress Oxide ink should be used with the bubble wrap.

We will look at 3 different techniques of stamping with bubble wrap:

3 different stamping with bubble wrap techniques
  1. Ink & stamp
  2. Ink, spritz with water & stamp
  3. Spritz with water, ink & stamp

Each technique gives a slightly different look. I like number 3 the best.

We will be using technique 3 to look at how the different sizes and shapes stamp:

Products used:

  • Water-based ink (Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire) (Ranger)
  • Water
  • Smooth Cardstock – white

Tools used:

  • Mini mister / spray bottle with water
  • Bubble wrap (different sizes and shapes)
