I often find that craft projects that you typically see on social media tend to be very complex and that often puts me off from trying something at all. I just want to tell you that I believe the photos and more importantly the memories, are the most important part of a memory keeping project like this. So, I tend to keep it simple with the photos as the main focus as I did on this The Cousins scrapbook page!
Remember that your photos should always be the most important part of your page. I created this simple double page layout to commemorate the visit of the cousins from New Zealand. We had a special photo shoot and the photos turned out great, they say it all!

Method:
Some photos were double matted with Denim and Coffee cardstock and others just got a single mat in either Denim or Coffee cardstock:

I added different sizes of brads to some of the photo corners and the sentiment by poking a hole and adding the brads and only then sticking the photo to the page.

The white paper flowers were coloured to fit the page by using the dip technique.

Distress Oxide Ink Chipped Sapphire and Scorched Timber were used to created these flowers.
A reminder of the Dip Technique if you are not sure what we are referring to:
The flowers were finished off by adding some brads to the centers:

The sentiment was printed on my printer and then I stenciled part of a frame onto it with Distress Oxide Scorched Timber and a blending brush. I inked the edges after I was finished with the stenciling.

The sentiment got a Denim cardstock mat, and I grouped the flowers at the corner of the sentiment. Brads completed this embellishment cluster:

The title was cut from white chipboard using my Silhouette Cameo 4. I thought of inking it, but when I put it on the layout it complimented the layout so beautifully that I left it white.

A simple layout, but I still used different techniques to make it look just perfect!
