One of the happiest days of my life! It literally took me decades to scrap this photo, but I am glad I finally did it! This is just a quick and simple page with easy techniques, but I think it looks special. You don’t have to spend hours to preserve a special memory in a special way.
Remember that your photos should always be the most important part of your page. I created this single page layout to compliment this beautiful wedding photo!

Method:
I used 3 pieces of cardstock for this page:
- A printed background cardstock with roses from Penelope Dee
- A dark green cardstock
- A shimmering gold cardstock

I used the golden cardstock to create the primary mat for the photo.

I cut a strip of the green cardstock and punched it with a scalloped border punch down one edge.
I used a decorative border punch to punch the dark green cardstock photo mat down one side.

I dabbed the punched edges of the cardstock with a clear Emboss It dabber and added gold embossing powder.

I then heat embossed these edges to give it a beautiful golden finish.

I used the same method to add heat embossed edges to the top and bottom of the green photo mat.

The title is a chipboard title that I heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I did it twice to get good coverage and to make sure that it shows up nice and even.

I finished off the page by putting everything together.
