I am so blessed to know a mermaid! It opens up fun opportunities for creating a scrapbook page with some unique photos!
Remember that your photos should always be the most important part of your page. I created this single page layout to compliment this beautiful mermaid photo!

Method:
I love using this magnetic pad when using a stencil. It keeps the stencil perfectly in place with the strong magnets.

I stenciled bubbles on a light blue cardstock background applying the Sparkle paste with a spatula. This adds both sparkle and texture to the background.

When the Sparkle paste was dry, I added some Distress Oxide ink with a blending tool, using the 2 different colours of ink in turn. This created a beautiful background with an underwater feeling.

I cut some vellum jellyfish with my Silhouette Cameo 4. I rubbed some Nuvo Mousse on the vellum jellyfish to add shine. Then I inked around the edges with the Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink and my blending tool to finish it off and to make it stand out against the background.

The title and the mermaid tail were cut from some leftover pieces of glitter cardstock using a Silhouette Cameo 4.

I finished off the title with some pearls.
